Pitti Uomo Spring 13 - Ben Sherman

For its 50th anniversary, next year Ben Sherman will unveil a collection called Duke Street Foundry (Duke Street is the site of its first store, in Brighton), which is inspired by its iconic pieces.

The collection, which wasn’t on display at Pitti, will be available to selected stockists and comprises seven pieces, including an Oxford shirt, Harrington jacket and parka. Ben Sherman’s EC1 Chino line has also expanded for spring 13 into the EC1 Trouser Shop, under the direction of Douglas Cordeaux, managing director of Somerset mill Fox Brothers. It features five fits in staple colours such as bronze, navy and olive, with fabrics including cotton poplins and twills. Retail prices are £75 for chinos and £60 for shorts.
