British cloth manufacturer Joseph H Clissold felt demand rise for its priciest UK-made fabrics, noting that Première Vision is the show to visit for attracting new customers and building existing relationships.
“If anything has done well it’s the top end of the market. The more expensive pieces have sold much better,” said senior designer Kenneth Forsyth. “The UK-focused British look and UK manufacturing element is still really sought after. China is getting into it too. If we can push the UK textile market there I think it will really take off.”
