How’s business going today at Premium?
We’re seeing lots of Germans, Austrians and Swiss buyers today. Basically the countries where we don’t have a showroom presence. Premium is always a good place for re-orders – we show our core stock each season here, so that people can replenish their stock of key products.
How have you seen the show evolve over the years?
I think it’s increasingly got a younger and more contemporary feel. There’s a lot more people on the stands. I think it’s been a busy first day here.
What do trade shows mean for Current/Elliot?
Well, it’s a good excuse for us to show our upcoming holiday collection, which is available from October, and a pre-collection will be available from January. It’s a bit of a PR exercise too, isn’t it? Our major orders still get done at our showrooms.
