As trade shows Pure London and Scoop both take place this weekend, Drapers brings you a first look at some of the new brands and established labels exhibiting for the first time, as well as what to expect at the shows.

Womenswear weekender: what to expect for spring 16?

Tell us about this season’s trade show – what’s new?

We’ve scoured the globe to source fantastic new brands for spring 16, with nearly 300 new names added. We’ve grown our premium offering across the show and are extremely excited to launch the new premium footwear concept showcase. We have more than 30 incredible speakers on board bringing new expertise and insight to the show, including Mulberry founder Roger Saul.

Tell us more about the footwear area.

We have more than 90 footwear brands exhibiting within both footwear and premium footwear, an all-new section. This will be positioned within the Apex Room, formerly the VIP Lounge, and will house a selection of invitation-only brands.

What brands are you most excited about?

Emerging brands is always an exciting section. It’s thrilling to showcase talented designers and their creative, directional and often challenging collections.

Where will we find you during the show?

I do enjoy taking a few minutes each day to admire the view across the show from the Grand Hall Gallery. It thrills me every time.

Tell us about this season’s trade show – what’s new?

A plethora of new labels are showing with us at our August show.

How do you think Scoop and Pure running at the same time will make a difference this season?

At Scoop we are very fortunate that the show already attracts all the key buyers for this segment of the market and for those who already visit Pure it will be a little easier this season with both shows running on the same dateline. However, I am sure some buyers just coming to Pure will visit to find out more what Scoop is all about.

What are some of your favourite exhibitors?

Three Floor Resort, Ivories and Piccione Piccione.

What new brands are showing this season?

Lulu Guinness, Antik Batik, One Teaspoon, Alphamoment, Bruns Bazaar, Munthe and Zoja, to name but a few.

Where will we find you during the show?

Catch me if you can!
