Pure London Spring 15: On the agenda

The contemporary labels that caught Drapers’ eye in the Agenda area of Pure.

AV by Adriana Voloshchuk

Adriana Voloshchuk trained and worked as an architect before moving into fashion and this background is visible in her spring 15 range, which features clean, structured shapes and geometric lines. The dresses, jumpers and coats come in eye-catching colours, from lime greens to dusky pinks, mixed with more muted greys. AV by Adriana Voloshchuk is also launching knitwear for spring 15, with jumpers wholesaling between £60 and £79.

Wholesale prices for the wider collection range from £23 for a knitted bandeau top to £140 for a mohair and neoprene coat.

Darling has given its signature vintage lace look an update for spring 15, introducing dresses in bright colours such
as turquoise, as well as beading and embellishment. Dresses and separates are also available in bold floral tapestry prints, in two colourways. The prints are done in-house and the print trousers have been selling particularly well through the brand’s Topshop concessions in Oxford Circus and York.

Wholesale prices for dresses range from £19.50 to £35, depending on the level of embellishment.

Justicia Ruano

Spanish brand Justicia Ruano - which launched in 2009 but is only stocked by Rtister in London in the UK - is hoping to expand its reach with its collection of cocktail dresses and high-end workwear for spring 15. Standout pieces included a monochrome blouse and trouser combo and short party dresses. The range is aimed at customers aged 40-plus.

Wholesale prices range from £120 for blouses to between £140 and £300 for dresses, and top out at £520 for a heavily embellished dress.

A collarless canary yellow jacket with rolled sleeves, worn by a representative of Danish brand B.Young, attracted Drapers this season, and light printed jeans teamed with a classic pale pink coat also stood out. The rest of the collection was equally easy-to-wear, including pretty, feminine tops, printed dresses and transitional knitwear pieces, priced at £12 to £15 on average.

Wholesale prices range from £6.50 for a T-shirt to £25 for a Tencel top.
