Pure London Spring 15: Short order stars

Top picks from the short-order labels on offer in Pure London’s Spirit section, including a handful of new names.

Ginger London

The Florentine short-order label made its debut at Pure with a 300-piece collection of baroque-inspired dresses, skirts and jackets. Standout pieces include a lime neoprene cut-out dress and boxy top, co-ordinating Turkish-inspired crop tops and skater skirts, and 1950s-inspired floral printed dress with full skirts. 1970s influences and sports luxe also appear.

Wholesale prices start at £11 for tops, rising to £34 for a gold lamé blazer.

New Retro UK

Wholesaling for the first time for autumn 14 short order, New Retro UK is bringing its young fashion style from its former retail store in Leeds to the independent market. Black quilted dresses with mesh detailing sit alongside floral printed neoprene skirts and crop tops. Cropped sweatshirts are key for this season with various floral and printed graphics on the front.

Wholesale prices start at £9.90 for crop tops and range up to £23.55 for dresses.

Oh My Bag

Debuting for autumn 14, short-order label Oh My Bag’s eco-friendly leather bags come to the UK market for the first time this season. Core pieces in the 79-piece collection include the school bag satchel and a midnight blue tote, shoulder bag and clutch in the Amsterdam mini collection. New pieces for spring 15 available on forward order include mini nap sacks with suede leopard patches.

Wholesale prices start at £30 for vintage leather coin purse and go up to £130 for a leather weekend bag.

The Meekat

The London brand launched this season with a 70-piece range focused on graphic prints and colour-blocked separates. Sleeveless shell tops with bold primary colour prints are teamed with matching miniskirts or vibrant red midi skirt styles. The collection includes fuchsia, yellow and monochrome striped prints, which are tipped to be a success with buyers.

Wholesale prices range from £15 for tops to £30 for jackets.
