New names flock to ‘must visit’ Pure

More than 180 brands will make their Pure London debut for autumn 12, across Pure London, Spirit Young Fashion and the Footwear and Accessories areas.

These include brands new to the UK and established labels showing at Pure London for the first time.

Kam Harris, sales and marketing director at Brand National, which represents Danish accessories brand Becksöndergaard, said the brand chose to show at Pure London because it is a “must visit” for many UK boutiques. “Our diary is already full of appointments,” she said.

Anna Chan, founder of Just Anna, a new brand showing in the British Footwear Association’s Designers Collective area, said of Pure: “It’s one of the best shows around and I hope to meet some interesting buyers.”

Sarah Watkinson-Yull, founder of footwear brand Yull Shoes, said: “All of Yull’s current stockists visit so it was only fitting that we be there too.”

Contemporary womenswear label Pamplemousse has chosen Pure London for its autumn 12 relaunch. “The brand will be ideally placed with other suitable brand adjacencies for the retailers,” said managing director Melanie Davies.
