Snakeskin

Drapers couldn’t help but notice snakeskin patterns emerging as one of the key directions. Worked for both eveningwear and daywear, snake-inspired scales covered everything from statement dresses and smart chiffon blouses through to T-shirts and outerwear. This was most successful when it came as abstract patterns in a dark and moody palette: more sexy snakes than brassy barmaids.
