Ruby Rocks mans up as Brandon

Short-order womenswear label Ruby Rocks has launched a men’s collection for spring 14 called Brandon.

Ruby Rocks managing director Jennifer Macdonald told Drapers the venture is in response to customer demand for a counterpart to the womenswear label, which has 300 UK stockists.

The 30-piece men’s range sees Ruby Rocks’ signature prints worked across viscose and jersey cotton shirts, polos, bomber jackets and joggers. Darker colours such as burgundy, slate grey and green toughen up floral and Aztec prints for a more masculine vibe, although slouchy silhouettes adhere to the label’s young fashion aesthetic. Wholesale prices range from £16 for a polo shirt to £25 for a bomber jacket.

Brandon is being exhibited at Ruby Rocks’ Great Portland Street showroom in London and has picked up six stockists - the brand would not reveal who - for the spring 14 range, which delivers in four to six weeks.

Ruby Rocks has also launched a girls’ range for spring 14, called Ruby Rockette. Pitched at ages four to 12, wholesale prices start at £7.20 for T-shirts, rising to £14 for a full-circle dress.
