Colourful prints, graphic tees and functional outerwear set the tone.
Menswear brands are betting on strong looks for spring 13. Exhibitors at London trade show Stitch brightened up stone and navy base tones with zesty oranges, plums and apple greens. Print is set to be key, as brands showcased shirting and shorts in camouflage, Hawaiian and Aztec-style patterns. Waterproof fabrics prevailed, with a functional trend seen at the Berlin shows continuing, and printed tees look set to make a comeback. Brands told Drapers that although footfall at the show seemed to be down, the quality of visitors was strong and many picked up new indie accounts.
