Dirtee Hollywood

Los Angeles based label Dirtee Hollywood is now in its third season in the UK. Tongue in cheek slogans mocking Hollywood celebrity culture come in a range of colours from white T-shirts to bolder reds, blues and greens. All in cotton, some with burnout details.

IFUKU (pronounced “eee-foo-koo”), now in its second season, offers shirting, jeans, sweatshirts and outerwear. Checked shirts have oriental font, panel detailing and quilted cotton. More washed denim had been added to autumn 10 alongside the raw selvage denim.

Never Ever

With its routes on the football terraces Never Ever have a more fashion forward range alongside its polos and T-shirts for autumn 10. Puffa jackets sit alongside jersey and pica cotton polo shirts. Wool and acrylic mix jumpers come in plum, teal, and grey with bright tee options.

Rock Revival

A premium denim label from LA, Rock Revival puts emphasis on stitching and pocket details. Embellished branding is seen in a range of washes and fits. Straight and bootcut styles come in indigo washes as well as grey and black.

Originating from Soho (in London??? MD to check), Chateau Roux is a streetwear label offering logo T-shirts alongside 100% lambswool cardigans, jackets, shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, poloshirts and selected jewellery. Grey, white and black make up the bulk of the collection.

Elvis Jesus

Elvis Jesus broadened its offering for autumn 10 by adding tailored coats and denim to the range. Elvis Jesus is the mainline and the diffusion EJ is more directional. Asymetric zips and sequin detail feature. Lightweight cotton sits with wool and cashmere mixes.

D.S. Dundee

Re-launched in 2008 D.S. Dundee emphasises the heritage look.  Double breasted military inspired coats, shooting jackets and fair isle jumpers with contrast suede elbow all feature in British and Scottish wool and Harris Tweed.

Derived from Singapore and introducing itself to the UK market for autumn 10, Woods and Woods Man’s design inspiration is taken from the artist Rodchenko. Mainly an outerwear range, wool jackets have panels of coated linen to add a design difference.

Saint Paul

Launched by former Kenzo designer Jungho Geortay, the prints are made by the designer and shirts are cut by hand. All shirts are 100% cotton manufactured in Morocco with a palette of primary colours with more emphasis placed on the print and pattern.

Pudel is a unisex label offering skinny jeans with various treatments such as tie-dye and an enzine wash. Cable knit jackets, long cardigans and wool jackets take inspiration from 1990s grunge culture and Victorian era fashion.

Social Suicide

Casual suiting label Social Suicide is inspired by upholstery fabrics and the concept of the ‘three piece suite’. Underside fabric of collars mirrors the underside of sofa fabrics. Pocket detail includes oyster card holder and metallised pocket for blocking phone signals when off duty.

Edo Popken

Swiss based Edo Popken, a shirting label born out of Geneva, features jeans, tailored coats, blazers, dress shirts and sports shirts. There is a limited production of dress shirts using batch numbers labelled in each shirt. Print designs are exclusive to the label.
