Tailoring

It’s said that in times of recession, frivolity in fashion is replaced by a desire to dress in a more professional and demure manner. Designers clearly had this at the front of their creative minds when generating collection ideas, as tailoring appeared in numerous presentations. Often rendered in men’s tailoring fabrics such as grey mottled tweeds, suits featured slim-line trousers paired with deep V-neck blazers and harem pants worn with oversized jackets.
