Tailoring

Autumn 10

Tailoring means business for autumn 10 and it’s all about the trouser suit. Loose-fitting check trousers with hip-skimming blazers were seen at Carolina Herrera and Dries Van Noten, while at Marc Jacobs a three-piece suit hit the trend head-on. Single- breasted styles led the way, cutting a slimline silhouette for jackets. Traditional grey was the colour of choice with ecru following close behind. The suit will be a chic alterative to the dress come autumn 10.
