Day two at the Berlin shows saw brand and agents continue to show a positive attitude towards the exhibitions.
At Bread & Butter brands were buoyed by the level of interest from international buyers, while others noted the attendance of major UK retailers.
Carl Barratt, sales manager for Alpha Industries, said: “Yesterday [Monday] was rammed. We saw Fenwick, Asos, Scott’s, JD, Bank, Xile, Diffusion and Choice. It’s quieter here today [Tuesday] but probably because everyone was here yesterday and have now gone to the other shows.”
At Bright brands were quick to praise the new location, and the exhibition was packed all day. The team from Criminal Damage, who have moved the brand from B&B this season, said Bright had the “biggest buzz” of the trade shows in Berlin.
Liam Green, founder of streetwear brand Hype, said: “It’s been a great show so far with a lot of interest in our collection. We are really pleased.”
Meanwhile at Seek, Stefano Cardoni, director of Backstage Fashion Agency, said the show had been busy all day. “We’ve had a fantastic day,” he said.
The Berlin trade shows will continue until Thursday.
