The edit - Streetwear autumn 13

When putting together this season’s Streetwear Special, it was hard to ignore the shift the sector has taken away from the cutesy and towards the more authentic - and it was all the better for it.

The technical outerwear popular in menswear brands came through strongly, while heritage continued to influence collections.

But this was no brown tweed extravaganza, as the punchy colours and graphics that set this sector apart were employed with boldness and confidence.

Prints and repeat patterns were the most outstanding trends across menswear and womenswear as classic camo was joined by bikes, animal skins, florals, sneakers, stripes, and even bikini-clad women across T-shirts, sweats and jackets - as you’ll find in our shoot.

Meanwhile in the denim market, decoration was also prominent but allied with quality fabrics, a concept that should be obvious from our debut standalone denim story. Something for extroverts and purists alike.
