This week’s hero - Carven’s spring 13 show

As brilliantly bonkers as it gets, the French house’s spring 13 show at a velodrome in Florence was the perfect end to Pitti Uomo. At the elaborately dressed tables were sat buyers and press from around the world, mildly bewildered but bewitched by the show which unfolded: a ‘race’ between waiting staff and Carven-clad models, who circled the velodrome while an excitable commentator called the action from the sidelines, before a brass band with feathery hats jogged around the track to provide a suitably surreal closing.
