This week’s hero - Fashion East

Pointing the way to the most important products, people, stories and shows in fashion right now.

Since its launch in 2000, Fashion East has been perhaps the biggest supporter of emerging design talent in London. The non-profit initiative headed up by founder Lulu Kennedy is credited with helping to launch the careers of Jonathan Saunders, Richard Nicoll and Roksanda Ilincic to name a few, by offering mentoring and bursaries that allow new names to show on the official London Fashion Week schedule. This season’s Fashion East MAN show, in partnership with Topman, took place on Monday and featured some of the sharpest new menswear from rising stars Agi & Sam, Astrid Andersen and on-schedule debutant Craig Green.
