Launched in 1988, American young fashion womenswear brand Chaser will make the jump across the Atlantic for the coming season, debuting in the UK via sales agency Level One.
Designed in Los Angeles and stocked at US retailers including Kitson, Singer 22, and Nordstrom, the brand riffs on vintage rock and roll inspirations and musical icons, focusing on interesting silhouettes and unique fabrications.
The collection includes printed slogan T-shirts and tops reminiscent of retro band T-shirts, floaty semi-sheer kimonos, knitwear including fringed cable knit jumpers and ponchos featuring Navajo embellishment and an oversized maxi-length lightweight cardigan. A variety of co-ord twin sets add a dressier feel, such as a geographic patterned halter top and matching high-waisted flares and a lacey crop top and high-waisted mini skirt.
Usually selling on a forward order basis with up to six drops a year, the autumn 15 collection will be sold via short order in the UK with stock available to buy now, while pre-spring forward orders will start in early July.
Wholesale prices range from around £14 for a vest to £45 for a printed maxi dress.
