Volcom dips toe in footwear market

Skate brand Volcom is launching its first full men’s and women’s closed-toe footwear collection for autumn 13.

The range has been developed with the expertise of footwear giant Puma, a link-up that is the result of
Volcom’s 2011 buyout by luxury group PPR, which owns both brands.

Waterproof premium leather, canvas and suede are used on men’s trainers, hi-tops, casual slip-ons and boots, all featuring Recliner Comfort Foam technology for added support, alongside boots and platform wedges for women. Wholesale prices range from £20.54 to £38.64.
