Our team will have a focus on identifying new relevant brands. Denim is our heritage and we’re reinvigorating this area. We’ll also be checking out Scandinavian brands including Humör, Panuu and K-Way. We’re developing our branded womenswear offer even more for spring 13, so are excited to see Glamorous and Rare.

Last season in Berlin I was really impressed with Danish brand Anerkjendt. All the UK retailers were talking about it. It had everything – colours, fabrics, functionality – and the most important factor we all look for, the great price point. I’ll be interested to see if they’ve developed the range and hear who’s picked it up.

Brands I always look forward to seeing at Bread & Butter include Closed, Suit, Scotch & Soda, Denham and all the Scandinavian brands, including Won Hundred and J Lindeberg. It will be really interesting to see how the Denim Hall looks now the large brands are no longer showing. I’ll also spend more time at the Premium and Seek shows, rather than doing my usual quick look to see what’s going to be there.

One Piece, as we had an amazing season with them and I want to see how it moves on. Also, Money Clothing, as autumn 12 is our first season with them so I’d like to see how things are developing. I’ll be keeping my eye out for new brands with a focus on trend and margin, together with more in-season budget allocated to reacting to trends and maximising sell-through and gross margins.
