What’s next for textiles?

Christopher Raeburn, Designer.

“Sustainability is going to be increasingly important. The Nike Flyknit shoe (which is ergonomically knitted in one piece, cutting wastage by 88%) is an interesting test case - incredible innovation and also very low waste. I’d like to think there’ll be more of an emphasis towards this type of product (combined with increased longevity).”
