Designer label Viktor & Rolf is to return to the couture calendar after 13 years’ absence.
The brand will be added to July’s Paris haute couture schedule after French fashion’s governing body The Chambre Syndicale voted to allow the Dutch designers back.
It is not yet known what form this comeback with take and whether the brand will host a catwalk show or a smaller presentation.
Viktor and Rolf was a fixture on the haute couture calendar from 1998 to 2000.
The brand is well known for its dramatic performances. In one show a model emerged wearing all the looks at once then shed them, to reveal each piece one layer at a time.
