Autumn 10

Fresh from showing his own label at London Fashion Week, designer Christopher Kane proved his versatility with a second outing on the Versus catwalk. The Brit played with archival prints and new silhouettes perfectly in tune with the Versus woman. A short pleated dress and full crystal-pleat skirt were the cornerstones of the collection, teamed with printed T-shirts, sharply tailored tux jackets and a sharp-shouldered biker jacket with flared peplum. Other key dress shapes worked around a tucked skirt-and-bra top combo with multiple strap details.
