Radley appoints brand director

Premium handbag and accessories brand Radley & Co has appointed former Warehouse marketing director Lorraine Pringle as its first brand director, as the brand looks to ramp up its UK and international standing.

Pringle, who previously spent 12 years at womenswear retailer Warehouse, will report to Radley chief executive Sven Gaede, who joined the brand from Net-a-Porter in April 2009, and will be tasked with increasing the brand’s awareness in the UK and internationally.

The position of brand director is new for Radley and forms part of the brand’s plan to build its presence in both the UK and internationally.

Pringle’s appointment follows the promotion of Radley retail director Paul Donoghue to commercial director earlier this year.

Radley is still recruiting for a design director to complete its senior management team.

The news comes as the brand announces the launch of Radley Man this November, a range of premium bags and accessories for men.

This time last year Radley launchedoverseas delivery from its website. The brand now delivers to 45 countries including Australia, Canada, China and Brazil.

Pringle was placed by Sue Shipley at retail headhunter Odgers & Berndtson.
