Boohoo Group bans wool

Comment

I’m sorry but this is pure madness, and the ethical/animal rights equivalent of greenwashing. I appreciate there is a market for entirely vegan product, however sheep’s wool has been farmed for thousands of years without harm to sheep. Brands and retailers need to show a commitment to supply chain transparency and accreditation using farms that are ethically sourced, and accredited in there treatment of the animals. The boohoo alternative to having a correctly working ethical sourcing department is to bring more filament based yarns and micro plastics to market?!?
