It is clean with a super simple 1990s influenced colour palette of blue denim and classic white with touches of grey and navy. Branded T-shirts, classic white shirts, tech nylon utility styled outerwear and, as the name suggests, plenty of jeans – but with a pleasing variety of denim weights and washes.
Unlike the flagship offerings at Westfield, this is a small and friendly store so it is hardly a level playing field for Calvin Klein Jeans. But, restricted by space and with no opportunity for a theatrics at the mall’s larger stores this is a purely functional store. Table displays do offer strong examples of product groupings though, and Sale items were discreetly offered and dotted around the store rather than offered under a red banner.
Denim-heavy as the name suggests, with a lightweight knits and shirts to team with the jeans.
There is a sibling underwear shop elsewhere in the centre so this unit avoids being diluted by a lifestyle feel but there is not much here that swerves from the theme of blue denim worn with white shirts or branded T-shirts.
A good score thanks to its discounted prices, which mean this store is peppered with bargains – a white shirt is reduced from £70 to £25 while a grey cardigan is £26, down from £89 but the Sale prices are at odds with the premium prices, with, for example, a blue crew necked knit at £105 right next to the £26 cardie. Elsewhere the premium pricing suggest aspirational designerwear with a light nylon coat at £175 and dark washed jeans at £119.
