2012 in online fashion - August, MyFashionReview launches

Stefan Hull looks at the month of August 2012 and highlights the key changes that impacted the online fashion world.

  • Young fashion retailer Missguided employs its own design team for the first time for autumn ’12, as it aimed to develop its in-house product offer
  • MyFashionReview launches with the aim of brining independent user reviews to the world of fashion. Users sign up for free and are then able to write reviews, upload images of the product and give it a star rating
  • Arcadia boss Sir Philip Green signs a deal to introduce a clothing range designed by the Kardashian sisters to his Dorothy Perkins fascia. The 100 piece collection, which launched in November is available online and in 250 of the high street retailers stores
