2012 in online fashion - November, Cambridge Satchel Company picks up Drapers Award

  • Taking inspiration from Pinterest, Google Shopping Shortlists is launched, making it easier to research products and plan purchases with friends and family online
  • The Cambridge Satchel Company wins Smaller Etailer of the Year at the Drapers Awards. The company was started from a kitchen table in 2008 by founder Julie Deane on a budget of £600. They have successfully used social networks and collaborations with fashion bloggers to promote the brand and featured in Googles’ Chrome advertisement
