Asos relaunches Crooked Tongues with Facebook Social Plugin

Etailer Asos has relaunched its specialist trainer etail and information site Crooked Tongues with new product categories and added functionality.

CrookedTongues.com now features a kids’ shoes section as well as an option for users to rate products through a Facebook Social Plugin, which Asos said is a UK first for a retailer.

Crooked Tongues sells a broad range of trainers including limited edition pieces from brands such as Adidas and Nike, as well as a selection of lesser known independent brands.

It has more than 65,000 community members who discuss and post pictures of their latest trainer collections.

Asos ecommerce director James Hart said: “The store is now an industry-leading sneaker destination, especially in the way the social activity is weaved into the fabric of the shopping experience – a position which is strengthened by the fact that Crooked are the first UK retailer to implement the Facebook Social Plugin for their customers.”
