Asos relaunches Crooked Tongues with Facebook Social Plugin

Etailer Asos has relaunched its specialist trainer etail and information site Crooked Tongues with new product categories and added functionality. now features a kids’ shoes section as well as an option for users to rate products through a Facebook Social Plugin, which Asos said is a UK first for a retailer.

Crooked Tongues sells a broad range of trainers including limited edition pieces from brands such as Adidas and Nike, as well as a selection of lesser known independent brands.

It has more than 65,000 community members who discuss and post pictures of their latest trainer collections.

Asos ecommerce director James Hart said: “The store is now an industry-leading sneaker destination, especially in the way the social activity is weaved into the fabric of the shopping experience – a position which is strengthened by the fact that Crooked are the first UK retailer to implement the Facebook Social Plugin for their customers.”
