Learn more future uncertain

The future of, the fashion website launched by pop svengali Simon Fuller, hangs in the balance as the site revealed today that it will not be adding new content to the site until the result of a strategic review by its parent company.

The site, which launched seven months ago, was set up by Fuller and Sojin Lee, formerly of Net-a-Porter. The site features editorial style fashion content and acted as an entertainment site for fashionistas, featuring films, videos, user-generated content and directing customers to where to buy product featured.

Earlier this year, Fuller left 19 Entertainment, the London-based parent company which is owned by CKX.

A spokeswoman for 19 Entertainment confirmed that the site was no longer generating new content and that a holding page would remain up “indefinitely” until a “strategic investment review” had been completed.

The spokeswoman added that the decision was not based on funding issues and that the site had been “incredibly successful”.

19 Entertainment group is also an investor in Roland Mouret’s 19RM label and in David and Victoria Beckham’s DvB brand.
