Premium fashion etailer Mytheresa has hired Goldman Sachs to hunt for a buyer for the German-based company, Reuters has reported.
Mytheresa, founded in 2006, carries more than 180 designer collections including Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo.
Co-founder and chief executive Christoph Botschen told Drapers earlier this month that the company recorded sales of €66m (£49.4m) in 2013 and expects this to leap to €100m (£82m) this year. He said Mytheresa has been profitable since the company was started.
In 2010, buyout group Acton Capital Partners took a minority stake in Mytheresa.
Mytheresa also operates a 14,000 sq ft store in Munich, which Botschen opened with his wife Susanne in 1987. Former Harvey Nichols fashion director Paula Reed joined the company in January as creative director.
