Pinterest launches London Fashion Week hub

Picture sharing website Pinterest has teamed up with Burberry, Topshop and the British Fashion Council to create a London Fashion Week hub.

The site at will feature designers, brands and style experts participating in London Fashion Week and will give a behind the scenes view of the event.

Luxury British brand Burberry will pin shots of its latest collection straight from the catwalk to Pinterest. These items will be immediately available to buy.

Further retailers to be involved with the Pinterest LFW incentive are House of Fraser and Ted Baker, plus luxury label Mulberry.

Katie Garlinghouse, head of community at Pinterest, said: “Millions of people already turn to Pinterest for their fashion inspiration every day, so we’re excited to highlight some of the best boards from London Fashion Week to give people around the world a behind-the-scenes peek from some of fashion’s biggest names.”

She added: “Our mission is to help people discover the things they love and inspire them to apply these things in their real lives - to translate their fashion inspirations from Pinterest to their own style offline.”
