Premium retailer Reiss is to launch a click-and-collect service before the end of the year as part of a major etail push led by new ecommerce director Dan Lumb.
Former Boux Avenue ecommerce director Lumb, who joined Reiss last month, will spearhead a raft of new multichannel initiatives. These may include options such as in-store ordering for home delivery and phone apps, as well as expanding online internationally.
Reiss brand director Andy Rogers said the decision to appoint a dedicated ecommerce director reflected the chain’s huge growth online over the past two-and-a-half years.
The website is Reiss’s largest store but 25% of visitors only use it to find store information. A key aim of the new strategy is to convert these into online customers. The retailer has
86 UK stores plus 15 overseas stores and concessions.
Rogers added it was also looking to launch non-English sites to serve markets outside of the UK and US.
