Premium brand Ted Baker is to launch a transactional website in the US next month.
The website, which is due to go live in early October, will sell menswear, womenswear and accessories and will be tailored to the US market, according to the brand, although no further details were available.
The new site will feature a range of delivery options, including next day and parcel tracking. It will also offer a live web chat facility for customer service queries.
The site will support Ted Baker’s US store opening programme. The company is set to open a store in New York’s Meatpacking District in early November, followed by a Chicago store in mid-November. Ted Baker has 13 US stores and is also understood to be launching in India in 2012.
