Casualwear is detailed with foiling and graphics overprints all over the shirts and T-shirts
Dark wood and red fixtures combine for a moody contemporary feel. The hanging chairs at the front of the store are a standout feature as are the floor to ceiling lightbox graphics – both elements add a retro gloss to the store and with its all-glass fascia and massive red logo, esprit looks as imposing as any retailer in Westfield.
The front quarter of the store is given over to a formal styling with suits, jackets, shirts, plain knits and dark raw denim. A display of basic T-shirts, a section with about ten jean styles and another given over to bags and accessories punctuate the rest of the store which is otherwise a little too samey with its deluge of graphic T-shirts and graphic over printed casual shirts.
A mix of tickets make the store’s positioning difficult to place here but with jeans from £48 to £62, T-shirts at £10 and laundered and embroidered shirts at £32, the offer seems reasonable. But while £95 for a multi-pocket blouson is less competitive as the an extra £4 would be better spent on a £99 cappuccino shade 2sb jacket – though you’ll need another £55 for the trousers.
