First floor, unit 8
Pros In one window, men’s footwear is displayed alongside a nautical theme of navy, red and white, while another window is bright and multicoloured, showing off the women’s styles of the season, including wedges and barely there stilettos. The shop is clean and bright with women’s footwear on the left-hand side and men’s on the right. It is easy to navigate and there is ample seating for shoppers to try on product. Chunky block heel sandals with a leather upper are £65 and of a similar quality to a Kurt Geiger pair at £89, so are good value for money. Footwear is displayed with matching bags. There are a few standout pieces that are more directional, including an open-toe leather boot with suede tassels for a reasonable £55.
Cons Staff are inattentive and do not approach shoppers. A few shoes on display are scuffed and damaged and those in the window are not priced.
