A great range of competitively priced styles and a top-notch store make Mango number one.
- Upper Regent Crescent
The range of product really stands out here, with flirty summer dresses in both long and short-sleeved options, catering to a breadth of customers. These sit alongside a wide range of separates, from formal workwear to more casual styles. Attention has been paid to trends, which follow a more grown-up route, although plenty of monochrome, metallic and geometric printed pieces keep the overall offering edgier than expected. It all makes for
some compelling browsing.
The pricing architecture in Mango is invitingly wide, catering for a good range of customers with different budgets. Separates catch the eye, with striped blouses for £27.99 and tailored shorts for £24.99, while workwear is equally impressive with tailored, 50% linen jackets at £44.99. A full suit can be yours for less than £100. A sequined metallic dress is a bargain at £39.99, although oddly the matching jacket comes in at £79.99. Full-length occasionwear is available at around £100, but it’s worth the price thanks to the quality level.
Starting from the well thought out window, where advertising campaign images are mixed with skilfully merchandised models, this store is top of the tree in the Trafford Centre. Signs in the window inform shoppers when items featured in adverts will hit the store, which is a nice touch, as are the postcards available at the till which explain washing symbols on product labels. In the changing room, items were being steamed before being returned to the shopfloor and assistants were keen to help with alternative sizes and advice. All this attention to detail adds up to more than the sum of its parts.
