Westfield London, first floor, unit 52
Like H&M, New Look’s fashion-forward approach makes it easy for shoppers to buy into trends for less. Once again, boho is the big story here and rails of crocheted vests (£9.99), cheesecloth tops (£17.99) and printed maxi dresses (£19.99) greet shoppers at the entrance. Flared jeans (£14.99) and a fake suede jacket (£34.99) complete the 1970s wardrobe. A large section of the store is given over to this season’s pastel trend. The back of the store is reserved for the most basic product. A cotton camisole is the cheapest item at £2.99, a vest top is £4.99 and leggings are £5.99. Although these prices are higher than at Primark, the fabrics feel better and the store experience is much more pleasant. The fitting rooms have a fun Hollywood theme.
The store layout is a little cramped and there are barely any mannequins in store, except for at the entrance. This means product is not displayed clearly, making it more difficult to browse.
