Adidas AW14

Pros

The window is dedicated to a variety of Nike trainers and showcases the most popular men’s styles, including Nike Air Max (£67 to £150) and Internationalist (£115). The staff in the busy store were friendly and attentive. On women’s footwear, the styles match the prices in Footasylum, such as the New Balance 373 trainers for £50, although Footasylum is a penny cheaper on its Nike Air Max 1s, which are priced at £94.99. There is also a good selection of Adidas trainers on offer. A lot of seating is provided throughout the store for shoppers.

Cons

The layout is rather odd, as the stairs to the basement are at the entrance, so there is a big square hole on the shop floor where you would normally find the key styles of the season. As a result the ground floor is difficult to navigate as the walkways around the stairs, which showcase the footwear, are very narrow. The store is quite dark and space is mostly dedicated to men’s footwear, so the women’s collection is more limited than at rival Footasylum.
