Hit or Miss: Wallis - 4/10

Westfield London, first floor, unit 3

I am pleasantly surprised to be greeted upon entering Wallis, as the staff at almost every other mainstream store fail to even acknowledge me. Good customer service is definitely the main selling point here. Product-wise, there is a satisfying balance between casual and dressy, with jeans at £30 and a lined polyester floral dress for £50, although the quality is not as good as at Next or Marks & Spencer. There is a member of staff manning the fitting rooms, and the cubicles are spacious and well lit.

Absolutely everything in store is on offer, with garish orange tags hanging from every item, advertising reductions from 20% to 40%. On top of this, there are also several messy rails of Sale product, which give the store the feel of a clearance shop. It also demonstrates a lack of confidence in the range, which customers will surely pick up on.
