6 Whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Who you need to know Owner Giles Henderson

Brands include 2nd Day, Aigle, Diesel, Edwin, Hugo Boss Black, Lacoste, Nudie, Tom Ford

Designer indie Six Whiting Street has won an army of fans since opening the doors to its men’s store in 2007, with one of its peers describing it as a “great regional boutique with a clever brand mix”.

Six Whiting Street offers a diverse mix of brands at varying price points. Its men’s store is housed within a 16th-century, grade 2-listed building, while its womenswear shop, which opened in spring 2011, is in an adjacent modern building.

In November last year, Six Whiting Street expanded its already impressive ecommerce offer when it overhauled its website with a re-design to better reflect the relaxed feel of the store and to incorporate womenswear for the first time.
