Who you need to know Albert Road store manager Tony Rodgers

Brands include Comme des Garçons, Engineered Garments, Maison Kitsune, Moncler, Nigel Cabourn, Stone Island, Ten C

Founded in 1988, cool directional Middlesbrough indie Triads is still at the top of its game. Its Albert Road store manager, Tony Rodgers, says offering top-notch customer service sets it apart.

The store offers complimentary alterations and there’s even a denim sofa for the weary-legged shopper.

The directors keep a close eye on Triads’ brand mix, and 2012 saw them usher back in sportswear brand Nike and introduce new labels, such as Maison Kitsune. Triads also bolstered its online team to help strengthen its website and social media presence.

Rodgers promises new brands for 2013 and says Triads will launch its new website in the “very near future”.
