065. Disorder Boutique

14 Needless Alley, Birmingham

Who you need to know Director Mark Howard

Brands include Bohemia, Corrupt, Disorder Boutique, Hooligan Soup, Roc & Doll

Retail guru Mary Portas is a fan of Birmingham men’s and women’s indie Disorder Boutique, and owner Mark Howard doesn’t mince his words when asked what sets the store apart from its competition.

“We stock independent brands, designed and made in the UK, and as such provide an antidote to the mass-produced, bland, unsustainable fashion of the high street,” he says. “We are there for those people who are looking for an alternative.”

2012 saw Disorder Boutique focus on its online offer, while this year Howard will grow the store’s eponymous own label.
