An indie I admire...Bunty & Co

Chosen by Mark Ashton, director of agency Concept Fashion and young fashion brand Little Mistress

Bunty & Co is a perfect example of how an indie should be: special, independent in every way.

The standard at which every area of the business is executed is second to none. The brands have a perfect balance to attract every customer, therefore increasing conversion, with footwear, jewellery, pampering, a cup of Yorkshire Tea (being located on the outskirts of York) all here, giving an amazing vibe. It is easy to shop and a pleasure to spend your precious time in Bunty & Co.

Since 2006, Bunty has showed no signs of stopping. It has also created an eponymous own label.

I’m tipping this as one to watch – the whole concept and set-up is ripe for a roll-out. The online shop (www.buntyandco.com) is a perfect reflection of the store. The store also has a great social media set-up, which is imperative today.

Bunty is also a regular at the The Clothes Show and Pure London, always busy. I look forward to watching its progression.
