Essentiel Antwerp’s oversized shirts (£144) and blue and white tops (£160) are bestsellers. Based mainly on shades of black, Bitte Kai Rand sells very well, especially the stretch-waist trousers (£98), which are popular every season. For autumn 15 we have introduced Danish brand Munthe. The label’s golden blouse (£160) is selling particularly well.”

Ted Baker floral dresses sell well (£120 to £300), especially in the Technicolour Bloom print, which looks like hand-painted roses. Paul Smith’s cream and black coat (£399) is also in demand. Gestuz’s sleeveless suede Olivia jacket (£299) is popular because it can be thrown over of a dress or jeans. Our latest additions for autumn 15 are waterproof jackets in neutral shades from Ilse Jacobsen (£155), which are performing well because of the lousy weather.”

“Catalan designer Sita Murt’s khaki and blue tops (£150 to £200) are our bestsellers, although we are seeing demand for stylish cashmere T-shirts (£170) and suede front cardigans (£360) from French brand Majestic Filatures. Joseph Ribkoff’s coat with box pockets (£295) is also extremely popular. This autumn 15 season I’m expecting Cinzia Rocca coats, especially the cashmere coat with a real fox fur collar and hood (£800), to be in demand. Ealing is becoming more vibrant because of the new Crossrail developments at Ealing Broadway station, which only means good things for the business.”

“A key piece from Sandwich, our bestselling brand, is a golden wool/mohair blend jumper (£99). Customers are also loving White Stuff cardigans (£45) in soft purple and apple green, as well as below-the-knee skirts (£49.95). Part Two’s knitted peach top (£74.95) is also proving popular. For autumn 15 we have added Selected Femme, which is already very popular, in particular the oversized and three-quarter-length sleeved jumpers (£50 to £60).”

“Our current bestsellers are Adini bohemian dresses (£59) and Yumi printed tea dresses (£55). Bohemia layered skirts (£59) in teal and blue are also selling well. The summer was tough because of bad weather, but I’m hoping the major renovation of Hay Castle over the next five years should help encourage tourism and drive business.”

French Connection jumpers (£75) in grey and black are strong sellers, as are Noa Noa tweedy cardigans (£85) in green and mauve. Sandwich tops (£69 to £79) in different shades of blue are also popular. I’ve added Ochre cashmere jumpers (£99) for autumn 15 and I’m expecting to start selling them any time now.”

Ted Baker floral print dresses (£99 to £220) are our bestsellers, although we are also seeing strong demand for Michael Kors black jersey jumpsuits (£185). Another brand performing well is Barbour, in particular its navy and black quilted jacket (£199), as is Vero Moda’s mock leather-sleeved cardigan (£55), which has sold out already. For autumn 15 we introduced Polo Ralph Lauren shirts (£85) in pinks, blues and stripes.”

Yaya knitted tops (£70) in grey and beige are our bestsellers. Denim and print dresses (£90) and parkas (£265) from Sandwich are also in demand, as are black and grey knitted tops (£90) from Coster Copenhagen. Noa Noa’s quilted jackets (£85) are popular as well.”

Eton long-sleeved shirts (£135) are popular because, even though they’re formal, they come in interesting prints. Paul Smith knitted jumpers (£135) in burgundy and navy are selling well, as are Hackett chinos (£125). Customers are already reacting well to John Smedley knitted jumpers in grey, indigo blue and green (£139), which we introduced for autumn 15.”

Hugo Boss has been our bestseller, but now it seems like Scotch & Soda is taking over for autumn 15, particularly its knitwear (£110) in shades of plum and mustard. However, Boss Black is still a good number two and its dark denim jeans (£100) are selling well, as are J Brand stretchy slim-fit jeans (£200). Hunter raincoats in mustard and khaki (£200) are already proving popular since we introduced them for autumn 15.”

“We have been selling Boss Orange jeans (£99 to £160), as well as Boss Black casual jeans (£99 to £130). Our bestsellers are Barbour waxed jackets (£199 to £279), Roy Robson jackets (£250 to £350) and trousers (£125 to £150) sold as suits, and Tommy Hilfiger jeans (£85 to £90).”

Ted Baker navy check jackets (£345), Gant navy and red check shirts (£90) and Camel Active navy jeans (£90) are in demand at the moment. Joules is our new brand for autumn 15 and its Rugby World Cup-themed sweatshirts (£45) are proving popular at the moment.”

“Casual long-sleeved shirts (£79 to £95) and a bomber jacket with a detachable fake fur collar (£225) are selling well from Tommy Hilfiger. Meyer’s five-pocket denim jeans (£89.95 to £99.50) and cotton trousers in orange and green (£89.89 to £99.50) appeal to our customers, regardless of the age group. Santinelli suits, particularly in electric blue, have been appealing to the younger crowds. William Lockie knitwear (£89 to £120), including V-neck and crew-neck jumpers in beige and red, have been popular, but navy blue is our number one seller.”

Barbour waxed jackets (£250) in black and sage are selling well, as are formal shirts with trim detail (£75) in white and blues from Hong Kong-based Giordano. Our selection of jeans from Danish brand Sand (£129) have already sold out. Fine knitwear jumpers (£130) from Hackett, introduced for autumn 15, are also selling well. In July we opened a new women’s clothing store called Hope three miles away in Norden, Rochdale. While we already sell womenswear in our flagship, we took advantage of a good opportunity to open a new store in a different location.”

Stone Island knitwear (£170 to £300) and lightweight nylon jackets (£250 to £300) are doing well. Farah is an old-school brand with a modern approach, and its shirts (£55) and raincoats (£110) have been bestsellers for us.”
