Mainstream womenswear indie Anne Furbank is so pleased with the performance of Joseph Ribkoff it is giving the Canadian brand its own room, with 600 sq ft of space, in its Newmarket store.
The retailer has shifted collections round in the store in Suffolk, moving occasionwear out of the upstairs of the shop and integrating it into the main part of the first floor. The indie, which has another store in nearby Buckden, said it did not scale back any of its other collections to make the changes.
“I am delighted with the result,” said Anne Furbank managing director, Rebecca Furbank. “Joseph Ribkoff has consistently been one of our top performers so it made sense to give the brand a permanent presence in the shop.”
The space was refurbished in keeping with the Joseph Ribkoff brand image, with black flooring, white walls and black velvet curtains around the fitting rooms.
Anne Furbank has stocked Joseph Ribkoff for eight years in its Buckden store and for three years in its Newmarket store.
