Miinto extends its remit to kidswear

Ecommerce portal has launched a kidswear section of its site just six weeks after its launch.

Miinto, which already operates in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, offers an online sales outlet for independent fashion retailers to expand their business online. The site, which launched in the UK last month boasts products from over 560 brands.

The website, which indies including The Dressing Room, Pamela Shiffer and Psyche have signed up to, has expanded into kidswear to sit alongside its men’s and womenswear.

Clothing and accessories for both boys and girls from babies through to 16 years old will be available from brands including Nolita, Pate de Sable, Mini Molly, 3 Pommes, Sophie Belle and Rare.

Managing director Richard Packman said: “Children’s clothing is one of the most searched-for categories online, and we are really excited to be working with some great children’s boutiques on Miinto.”

Miinto now has a presence in seven countries and expects to exceed €50m (£41.2m) in turnover this year.
