How is trade this season?

Business is brisk and trading is up on previous years. Our customers seem to be buoyant and we’re very positive about the season.

Which brands are hitting the mark with your customers?

Our customers are looking for something fabulous. Rützou and Odd Molly are doing well, as is Ash footwear. Betty Jackson and Nicole Farhi are also doing incredibly well.

Which categories are selling best?

Casual day dresses are popular. There’s still a lot of interest in skinny jeans and treggings, and long tops and layers to complement these. Jackets of all styles, from Doma leathers to Joseph blazers, are selling well.

How relevant is ecommerce to your business?

We’ve had a website since we launched eight years ago, but only recently developed a transactional site that looks cool and talks to our stock systems. We are upping our online campaigns and finding it has a direct impact on certain categories and brands, especially footwear.
