Moss is selling suits for everyone and with plenty of promotions. The store needs livening up though.
Moss has done wonders to improve its image and provides good quality tailoring at a spread of price points. This store has the broadest range of 1sb suits - too many rivals have focused solely on the 2sb this season. It also serves up suits beyond the normal blacks and greys, with navy and brown options looking particularly strong. There are lightweight macs and trench coats and a reasonable array of both casual and formal shirts.
It also has the best tie offer around.
A contemporary environment that is easy to shop but which doesn’t offer much in the way of excitement. Selling suits requires customer service and there was no sign of any of that going on, with staff glued behind the counter. Product displays are extremely clear though, especially shelving for formal shirts, which are split by colour and by size.
Moss is up to its old tricks with yet more two for-type promotional activity.
Men are going to need something more imaginative soon. A suit from own brand Ventuno 21 is £99 with two free shirts. One Ventuno 21 shirt is £30, while two together are £45. A Ted Baker 2sb suit is £249 and a French Connection suit is £199. This scores best for offering a suit for every age and pocket.
