Crew Clothing delivers a rise in revenues

Lifestyle retailer Crew Clothing delivered a rise in earnings during its last financial year as the business grew its multichannel offering.

The retailer posted a 19% rise in sales to £49m in the year to October 28, 2012, delivering positive retail like-for-likes.

EBITDA grew 8% during the year to £5.4m.

Crew Clothing posted a 20% in online sales, while its retail portfolio expanded with 20 new stores launching during the year.

Managing director Octavia Morley said the launch of click and collect had been a huge success.

She added: “We are pleased with the positive performance delivered despite the extremely challenging trading environment. We have continued to invest in our product whilst financing core areas of the business.  Our key focus continues to be the customer shopping experience.”
